Updating Canada's Privacy Act

From apps and smartphones, to instant messaging, much has changed since Canada's Privacy Act took effect on July 1, 1983. The act governs the use of Canadians' personal information by the federal government. But according to Daniel Therrien, the privacy commissioner of Canada, it hasn't been substantially updated since. He joins Steve Paikin to discuss the updates he has proposed.
