There are two things routinely said about careers in science, math, engineering and technology, the so-called STEM fields: demand for skilled talent is ever-growing, and there aren't enough women in those sectors. The Agenda welcomes three generations of women engineers - all 2017 recipients of Engineers Canada Awards - who have experience making their way in a profession long dominated by men.

To dig out from the pandemic-related backlog, the province aims to spend $324 million to run hospital operating rooms and diagnostic facilities longer.

Fifty years ago, the province introduced new legislation that lowered the age of majority, letting 18-year-olds drink. But that change wouldn’t last the decade.
