Last May the Colonial Pipeline, an American oil pipeline originating in Houston, Texas suffered a ransomware cyberattack, affecting the computer system managing the line. It's just the type of scenario journalist Ted Koppel speculated about in his 2016 book, "Lights Out: A Cyberattack, A Nation Unprepared, Surviving the Aftermath." He spoke to Steve Paikin about what he learned might happen in the age of technology-dependent living.
