Sook-Yin Lee: The Limits of Art and Speech

The Agenda with Steve Paikin

In the so-called call-out culture, how do artists find the balance between creating and speaking freely and presenting work that is faithful to their ideas, yet doesn't offend? The Agenda explores that question with multimedia artist and broadcaster Sook-Yin Lee. Lee worked with Canadian Stage to create "Unsafe," a docu-performance on the topic of art and censorship and she shares that process with Nam Kiwanuka.
