Sid Ryan: A Lifetime in Labour

The Agenda with Steve Paikin

Sid Ryan is the former president of the Ontario Federation of Labour and he's been on the frontlines of the Canadian labour movement for decades. Growing up impoverished in an Ireland on the verge of The Troubles, he eventually emigrated to Canada, embedding himself inside and at the head of unions that would take on the Ontario government and further the needs of over one million workers across the province. He talks to Steve Paikin about his memoir, "A Grander Vision: My Life in the Labour Movement."
