Parts of northern Ontario have been hard hit by the opioid crisis, with numbers of deaths rising during the COVID-19 pandemic. Social issues such as homelessness and poor access to services have exacerbated an already difficult situation. Northeastern Ontario Hub journalist Nick Dunne has spoken to people on the frontlines of this crisis in order to provide ongoing coverage and he speaks to Jeyan Jeganathan about what he's learned.
