How did London's Shelley Carr go from being a cycling advocate to one of only 40 bicycle mayors around the world. Southwestern Ontario Hub reporter Mary Baxter learns that after a serious car accident, Carr began using her bike as transportation and spreading the word about the virtues of cycling around the city. Soon she was nominated, then named bicycle mayor. In her role she pushes for biking infrastructure to ensure roads are safe for cyclists.
