If You Can't Stand the Heat

The Agenda with Steve Paikin

In today's foodie culture, a look behind the scenes of the restaurants and lives of leading chefs is always a hot ticket. But the documentary that opened this year's Hot Docs Festival - a TVO original - raises the temperature in another way too. "The Heat: A Kitchen (R)evolution" offers a searing look at the male-dominated industry. The Agenda welcomes filmmaker Maya Gallus and two women featured in the doc: chef Anita Lo, and food writer Ivy Knight to discuss the film.
