Twenty-five years ago, Ontario Provincial Police shot and fatally wounded a man named Dudley George when they moved in to break up a group of First Nations people who had occupied Ipperwash Provincial Park. Fallout from those 1995 events is still being felt today as we look at how the province's history with Indigenous protests has shaped its response to the Tyendinaga blockade in eastern Ontario.
