David Miller: Can Cities Help Fix the Climate Crisis?

The Agenda with Steve Paikin

In his new book, "Solved" former Toronto mayor David Miller puts forth the idea that cities around the world, and here in Ontario, are well-disposed to find solutions for climate change. In fact, many measures are already in place. A further step forward would be to embed carbon plans into city planning and city budgets. Le ading the charge would be good for their economies of these jurisdictions, help facilitate equality, and confront social justice issues. Miller talks to Steve Paikin about his ideas, based on his work as the director of international diplomacy and global ambassador of inclusive climate action at the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group.
