Hospital triage protocols are fairly well-known - the person most in need receives the most immediate care. But what happens in a crisis such as a pandemic? Who decides care priorities when it comes to elderly people and those with disabilities? And are those priorities fair? Ontario Hubs editor Sarah Trick has been looking into how Ontario is handling this bioethics issue to create a policy in the event that hospitals become overwhelmed.
