From the 1950s to the 1980s, Canada investigated thousands of people in the military and federal public service suspected of being homosexual. Filmmaker Sarah Fodey documents this period of Canadian history in, "The Fruit Machine," which airs tonight on TVO. Joining her on The Agenda panel are John Ibbitson of the Globe and Mail; Patti Gray, a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and survivor of the purge.
