Starting tomorrow, the six municipalities that still make up Metropolitan Toronto will begin counting the ballots. The question, of course: do the people want to amalgamate those six cities into one big, new Toronto? To help answer these questions, a conversation with Municipal Affairs Minister Al Leach. Also joining Steve Paikin in studio to debate the merits of megacity and the advisability of ignoring the referendum results are: Steve Gilchrist. Conservative MPP for Scarborough East and the government's point man for getting the megacity bill through the house. In opposition: Mike Colle, the Liberal from Oakwood; and Tony Silipo, NDP member for Dovercourt.
