4th Reading

MPP's are back in their ridings this week, as the Legislature takes a break. But the next time their constituents step into a voting booth, those ridings will look radically different. Ontario's electoral map is being dramatically re-drawn. We're going from 130 seats to 103. The Tories say there are too many politicians, and so the provincial riding boundaries will now mirror federal ones. There will be fewer seats in Toronto, and fewer seats in the north. It might seem the stuff only a political junkie would care about - unless your riding is about to become almost as big as Germany. Host Steve Paikin is joined by Peter Kormos, the NDP member for Welland-Thorold. And no push-over himself, Frank Sheehan, Conservative MPP for Lincoln.
