Mike Harris has a 42% solution for Ontario's MPP's. That's the amount by which he wants to increase their salaries. But the logistics are causing a headache for the government. The news comes smack-dab in the middle of negotiations with Ontario's teachers, some of whom haven't had a raise in 7 years. They're being offered 2%. We'll ask our panel's views on that. And further on the education front, will the government move to legislate mandatory extracurricular duties for teachers? As well, Ontario voters go the polls next week to elect their municipal governments.
