Your Health

Your Health is hosted by Maureen Taylor. Episode ten. Multiple Sclerosis drugs. There's been a lot of good news recently for people diagnosed with MS. One drug delays the onset of MS, another can slow its progression. But these drugs are expensive and they don't work for everyone. In fact they don't seem to help the people who need them most. And Maureen interviews Dr. Joel Lexchin, an ER doctor and member of the Medical Reform Group, and Murray Elston, President of Rx & D, about the high cost of these new Multiple Sclerosis drugs. Also this week, chemistry professor, Joe Schwarcz looks at Chamomile.
