All kinds of training activity are shown taking place at a camp in 1917. Semaphore, gunnery practice, engine-starting and engine-assembly plus a large group getting a short bomber prototype ready for flight. These planes had a unique two-bay folding wing to conserve space in hangers and on ship. Heavily clad flyers clamber into open cockpits and takeoff.
