Ernest Hemingway loved to box. On one occasion he challenged Canadian writer, Morley Callaghan, to a boxing match. F. Scott Fitzgerald was the time keeper, but the bell didn't toll for a long time when he allowed one round to go late and Callaghan beat the stuffing out of Hemingway.
