A caption reads "One hand wonder."

Graham is in his twenties, with short brown hair and a beard. He wears a gray hoodie and a black cap hat.

He says HI, MY NAME IS GRAHAM SPERO,
I'M FROM HERE IN OTTAWA,
AND I WAS BORN WITH
ONLY ONE HAND.
EVEN WITH ONE HAND, I'VE BEEN
ABLE TO DO A LOT IN SPORTS.
I'VE BEEN ABLE TO PLAY WITH THE
GEE-GEES BASEBALL TEAM
BY THROWING AND CATCHING
WITH THE SAME HANDS.
I WON THE CANADIAN SPRINT
KAYAKING CHAMPIONSHIP
BY USING A PROSTHETIC DEVICE.
AND I'VE BEEN ABLE
TO PLAY WITH THE
CANADIAN AMPUTEE
HOCKEY TEAM.

He shows a stick attached to his wrist by a plastic wrist band and says SO, THIS IS THE HOOK THAT I USE
TO DO WRIST SHOTS,
STICK HANDLE, AND BASICALLY
CONTROL THE STICK.
AND THIS THE THERMAL PLASTIC
WRIST SUPPORT
THAT LOCKS ME IN PLACE.
LIKE WISE, I'VE ALSO BEEN
ABLE TO DO A LOT OF
WEIGHT LIFTING WITH VARIOUS
HOOKS AND DEVICES.
THE DEVICE THAT I USE
FOR DEAD LIFTING
AND ANY WORKOUT
INVOLVING A BAR...
IT'S A HOOK THAT GOES
AROUND THE BAR,
AND I'M ABLE TO PULL IT AND
IT COMPENSATES FOR THE
LENGTH DIFFERENCE IN MY ARM.
SO, MOST OF WHAT I'VE
HAD TO OVERCOME AS A
ONE-HANDED ATHLETE IS ACTUALLY
JUST THE NAME CALLING,
RATHER THAN ANY SORT OF
PHYSICAL LIMITATION.
SO, I'VE DEALT WITH THAT
BY JUST ACCEPTING THE
"ONE HAND WONDER."
AS MY NICKNAME,
AND ROLLING WITH IT AS MY
OWN PERSONAL BRAND.
