A People Uncounted: The Untold Story of the Roma

Through the ages, the Roma have been both romanticized and vilified in popular culture, politics and art, enduring centuries of persecution. Through interviews in 11 countries with dozens of artists, historians, musicians and Holocaust survivors, this film documents the culturally rich but often difficult lives of the people also known as Gypsies, including the little-known story of the ethnic minority's genocide during World War II.
