Ravina Bains serves as the Vice President of Canadian Business Banking & Canadian Wealth Management Sales Integration at Scotiabank. She works with the Business Banking and Wealth Management teams across the country to support Scotiabank’s clients. She previously served as the National Director for Aboriginal Financial Services at Scotiabank.
Prior to joining Scotiabank she served as the Director of Policy for the federal department of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada in Ottawa, where she worked with Aboriginal communities, government officials, and industry executives to advance economic development, education and fiscal policy.
Ravina currently serves as a Board of Director for the Hockey Canada Foundation, the YMCA of Greater Toronto, and the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. She is also the 2018 Investment Industry Association of Canada’s Top Under 40 Award recipient.
Ravina holds a M.Sc. in Law from the University of Oxford, where she studied as a CN Scholar, a B.A. and M.A. from UBC.
