Jennifer Hinshelwood is an experienced, thoughtful executive leader. As acting COO, she is responsible for day-to-day operations at TVO, including ensuring that public funds are used wisely, translating the strategic direction of the board into operational plans, and achieving TVO’s performance targets.
Jennifer’s passions lie in equipping people to deliver their best and in finding inspired solutions to organizational challenges—passions she developed in her previous role as the leader of TVO’s People & Culture team. In that position, which she held from 2016 – 2019, Jennifer helped drive TVO’s culture of learning and innovation, empowering employees to thrive in a digital organization that delivers unique value to the citizens of Ontario.
Prior to joining TVO, Jennifer established herself as a strategic human resources leader who builds nimble, dynamic and forward-thinking teams at organizations including Medical Pharmacies Group Limited, and G4S Cash Solutions (Canada).
Jennifer is a graduate of Western University, Humber College, and the Schulich School of Business at York University.
