Leslie
Jones has worked as a professional journalist for over twenty
years, starting her career as a radio reporter in Regina. Most
of her
working career has been spent in Canada‚s main media market,
Toronto,
where she‚s worked as a television reporter and news anchor
for both
Global and CTV.
Most recently, she has been the news anchor for CTV‚s
Canada AM. and
Newsnet. In this capacity, she covered live breaking stories,
including
the September 11 tragedy, the war on Kosovo, and many key Supreme
Court
decisions. In previous years, she served as the station‚s
Parliament Hill
reporter filing stories on federal politics and key public policy
events
such as the historic Charlottetown Accord.
