Cardio
Rehabilitation
The first thing youd do after you have a heart attack,
is count yourself lucky to be alive. Heart disease is still
the single-biggest killer of men and women in this country.
The good news is, more people are surviving their first
attack. But without some major changes, they're at risk
of having a second one. Thats where cardio rehabilitation
comes in.
Stem
Cell Research
Just because we can, should we? By now, most of us know
what stem cells are and that they have enormous potential,
down the road, to cure disease. But to harvest stem cells
from embryos, scientists have to, in essence, "kill"
the embryo. And that raises all kinds of moral and ethical
questions. Questions the federal government has yet to regulate.
Well have two medical ethicists in studio to debate
embryonic stem cell research.
