Vox, TVO’s Gemini nominated youth magazine show, is an upbeat culture series that provides a voice for teens and invites them to explore ideas, issues, and the world around them. A cold front hits VOX this season! VOX partners with Students on Ice to travels to an Arctic ice floe near Pond Inlet on Baffin Island. World-class scientists join 10 teens as they learn to adapt to the extreme Arctic conditions in Nunavut and Greenland communities. Arctic trekkers have now reached the ice floe, where they remain on polar bear alert.

Winner of 7 Academy Awards, Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) follows British POWs who are forced to construct a railway bridge in the jungle while their senior officer wages a battle of wills with his Japanese captor. An escaped American prisoner has an entirely different plan for the bridge. King Rat (1965) depicts a young British officer in a Japanese prison camp who is befriended by an American Soldier who holds court as the mastermind behind an impressive black market operation.
