NEWS - September 2004

Welcome!

Welcome to TVO's first monthly electronic newsletter in support of teachers. This newsletter is part of our initiative to provide teachers information about our educational programming as well as resources for the intermediate and senior classrooms. (Primary/Junior teachers may wish to subscribe to TVOKids e-newsletter at TVOKids.com.)

Have your class watch a show and have a follow-up activity in school the next day. Use the show as a starting point for a debate or to generate student opinions about politics or current affairs. Have students learn about future careers or places they have never heard existed!

We will provide teachers with curriculum links, classroom activities, viewing questions, assessments/evaluations, Black Line Masters and more.
