Evergreen Donations

As an evergreen donor, you make ongoing monthly donations through your credit card or bank account.

This special method of contributing helps to:

  • provides a stable funding for TVO
  • protect the environment by reducing paper and printing associated with renewal notices
  • reduce mailing costs for renewal notices, so more of your donation goes directly into meaningful initiatives.

We won't contact you, other than send you your annual tax receipt and email alerts if you request them.

You can change the amount of your gift or withdraw from the program any time you wish.

Canada Revenue Agency Tax Receipts

A tax receipt for the full amount will be issued for all charitable gifts made to TVO.

Tax receipts for one-time donations are mailed within six to eight weeks of processing. Tax receipts for donors who contribute by postdated cheques or monthly withdrawals from a credit card or bank account are mailed early in the calendar year. If you make a one-time donation online, an electronic tax receipt will be emailed to you within a 24-hour period after your donation is submitted and approved. Donors who submit a donation online and request a tax receipt to be mailed by Canada Post will receive it within six to eight weeks. Donors who make a monthly donation online will receive a tax receipt by mail early in the calendar year.
