Driving home from work, Ben and Alisha narrowly miss hitting a naked hooded man as he flees his captors. Turns out he is a suspected terrorist and in the wake of 9/11 is being held without charge and being tortured.

Episode 2: Pandemic

Ben and Alisha are caught up in a whirlwind of public hysteria as they struggle to convince a potential whistleblower to expose a giant pharmaceutical company. In order to make millions from a vaccine, the company is exacerbating the panic around a possible pandemic. What it does not want the public to know is that the virus was generated from an accident at one of their labs, an incident they are taking full advantage of. An incident for which three innocent people have already paid with their lives.

Episode 4: Fit for Purpose

Ben and Alisha are contacted by Sara, an Immigration officer new to the service, who has been witnessing the illegal entry of immigrants for cash at the airport where she works. Having tried to speak out before, Sara turns to Ben and Alisha in desperation after a fatal shooting is found to be the result of an immigrant being smuggled into the country, putting everything on the line to expose the deep-rooted and unchecked corruption in the service before more people's lives are destroyed. This investigation goes much deeper than anyone expects, when the team reveals that this incident is linked to Government policies that have enormous implications for the future of a peaceful multicultural society.

Episode 6: Environment

Ben and Alisha discover a big waste incineration plant is getting around the rules and selling on carcinogenic ash to the building trade at a profit. The investigation escalates when they realise this is not the only case of foul play at the plant, whose owners have big, Government-backed plans for expansion. Something else is causing a huge number of cancer cases in the surrounding area. When their main whistleblower dies and it seems it was no accident, Ben and Alisha feel the time is right for direct action to be taken once more. However, the stakes become unbearably high for the couple on a personal level, when Alisha discovers her father has links with the company they are trying to expose.
