Saunia Ahmad is a doctorate candidate in clinical psychology at York University. Her research focuses on understanding how cultural differences influence immigrant family dynamics. She has recently opened a clinic to provide a culturally sensitive approach to marital therapy for couples of South Asian background. Her long-term goal is working with immigrant families because she sees a great need for that.
