Ian Labelle-Stackhouse is an elementary school teacher at Downtown Alternative School in Toronto. He teaches Math, French, and Computer Skills to children in grades K to 6. Formerly he taught at Market Lane public school, and was involved in a controversy when parents objected to the inclusion of same sex resources in the classroom. Ian co-authored a junior math strategy report for the Ministry of Education, and was the Education Officer's "Math Lead" partner for grade 3 and 6 marking sessions for EQAO. He also spent a year on exchange, teaching at a public school in Australia. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Education degree from Nipissing University in North Bay. Ian lives with his husband and son in Toronto.

Zeenat Janmohamed is the Coordinator of the Atkinson Centre for Society and Child Development at the University of Toronto and a faculty member in the School of Early Childhood at George Brown College. Zeenat’s area of research is focused on examining the experiences of queer parents in early years settings. She is the author of "Building Bridges: Queer Families in Early Childhood Programs" and has presented professional development training sessions for teachers and early childhood educators across Canada. Zeenat is also a member of the Toronto First Duty Research Project - a program that integrates early learning for children and families.

Pardeep Singh Nagra is a speaker, trainer and consultant with substantial experience in organizational change. Currently, he is employed with the Toronto District School Board as Manger of the Employment Equity Office.
He specializes in Anti-oppression, Equity, and Diversity work. He has held positions in University, College, Public Health, Police and Human Services sectors and has worked both as a Diversity Officer and Diversity Manger.
Most recently, Pardeep led the successful planning, development, and implementation of the Work-Force Census at the largest school Board in Canada, the Toronto District School Board. In addition. he has developed processes to maintain employment equity based demographic data for the entire hiring cycle including point of application, point of hire, point of promotion, and point of retention. Furthermore, Pardeep has developed and implemented various human resources diversity best practice programs and services related to employment equity including a Leadership and Mentoring Program for Racial Minority and Aboriginal Teachers. His work in Employment Equity has laid the foundation for Ontario’s Equity and Inclusive Education Strategy and its year 4 goals of implementing positive employment practices that support equitable hiring.
