Josh Matlow is a Toronto District School Board trustee for the riding of St. Paul. He is a former director of Earthroots, an Ontario environmental non-governmental organization where he worked on achieving protection legislation for the Oak Ridges Moraine - the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act. He is also a former campaign organizer for the Canadian Peace Alliance and ran for the Ontario Liberal Party in a 2002 provincial by-election against then-Progressive Conservative Premier Ernie Eves.

Courtney Betty is a Toronto lawyer with Betty's Law Office.
He has over 20 years experience within the legal, regulatory and business environment. He began his legal career with the Department of Justice-Canada, by prosecuting Tax, Commercial and Civil cases on behalf of the Government of Canada. He successfully represented the government of Canada in over 200 cases before the federal court of appeal.
More recently he represented Lorraine Small, the mother of slain student Jordan Manners. For many years he was the producer and host of Canada’s first legal phone-in show, “You and the Law.”

George E. Whitfield is principal of Stewart Africentric School in Akron, Ohio. Whitfield grew up in Massillon, Ohio where he earned a football scholarship to Wichita State University. He graduated in 1973 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Education with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. He earned a Masters’ Degree in Counseling from Wichita State University. Whitfield began his coaching and teaching career in Wichita Kansas. He became the first African American Head Football Coach in the city of Wichita.
