Susanna Kelley is The Agenda’s Queen’s Park bureau chief, a position she has held for TVOntario for over a decade. As well as the Ontario Legislature, she has covered Parliament Hill in Ottawa and numerous federal, provincial and municipal elections and leadership campaigns.
For 14 years she produced the 4th Reading portion of Studio 2, and as co-host of Backroom 411, provided insight into the thinking behind many political decisions made in the backrooms of Queen’s Park.
As an investigative journalist she went behind the scenes with a cabinet minister for 18 months to produce a documentary on the development of the Ontario Conservative government's Smart Growth policy. She has also produced documentaries on the crisis in the forestry industry in Northern Ontario and on how elections are run behind the scenes.
Susanna has a passion for Ontario and national issues, and is particularly interested in the economy, the state of our democracy, education, the environment and sustainable development.
She has appeared on CBC’s As It Happens, The Current, Metro Morning and Here and Now.
