Mary Ito is the host of TVO's More 2 Life and 2nd Opinion. Mary has had an extensive career in television and radio broadcasting, covering a variety of hosting and producing positions in Canada's top media market, Toronto.

Before joining More 2 Life, Mary anchored a daily health segment on Global Television's evening news. She also contributed lifestyle and entertainment features to Global's News at Noon. She has served as a reporter and alternate host on CFTO's Eye on Toronto, a live morning talk show, and as a replacement weekend CFTO evening news anchor.

Mary's work in radio includes guest lifestyle contributor on CBC Radio's Later the Same Day, host and writer on Healthstyles Radio, a national radio magazine show, and host and writer on Treehouse Radio, a weekly, hour-long radio show syndicated through Standard Broadcasting.

Mary hosted her own hour-long family program on CFRB Radio, The Mary Ito Show, and also worked extensively with CFRB Radio's Kidsummer Festival, which won the station an ACTRA award for community involvement. Also at CFRB, Mary worked as a producer on several prominent shows, including Andy Barrie, Bob Bratina, and John Stall's programs. Her entertainment work at CFRB included co-hosting Ticket to Entertainment, a weekly two-hour round-up, and The Best of Toronto, a nightly two-hour show.

Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toronto, attended Ryerson's Radio and Television Arts program, and has pursued her language studies through several foreign and domestic institutions. She is third-generation Japanese-Canadian and celebrates her ethnic heritage. She makes her home in Toronto.
